This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
You’re so welcome ..I know, it's sometimes pretty frustrating to have a look around and start to notice the things that some people around you really appreciate, and notice that for some people their whole existence is based on comptetition and outrunning other ones. But no wonder if you think about the values, that the achievement society today desperately try to get into people's minds (just look e.g. MTV for a half an hour). Some people might just not have the same critical mindset and takes everything as given (sorry for them [NOT]). I'm not saying that I wouldn't be ambitious, but in a different way. Ambition is not the same as competition. This whole superficial madness has been aggravated in the last ten years. Sometimes I just would so rather spend a year or two in the 80's ..maybe I would find some other people too, who likes 80's music! (and btw. before the games were also more creative, like Supaplex which is great! ..today when the game companies don't have ideas left, every effort has to be invested in nice graphics. It's like a delicious looking cake that tastes like shit )
Yeah...but hope is not lost yet. Though pretty hard to find, people who still appreciate good, quality things are still around (they have to be somewhere out there, right? ). I totally agree with you on the TV issues , that's why I stopped watching TV 2 years ago and i honestly don't regret it. I consider it slow and unpainful brainwash . And yes...the games today are simply awful. I soooo miss supapalex and so many other stuff from my childhood that have just faded out and have been replaced by "delicious looking cakes that taste like shit" - i couldn't have said it better . I just feel like everything is moving so fast and I just can't keep up with it. Nobody stops to look around them anymore, to see the "details" around them. Everybody is just interested in the "view from the top". I say we grab a good book, a chair and good music and just relax and enjoy the "walk through life" and let others worry about the bumps on the road, cause we only got one life (as far as I know) and i'm not gonna waste it just to end up and old, sad person with 30 cats wondering when did it all pass me by.
I think appreciation and gratitude might be perishable things, but let's not generalise too much ..good for you of making a statement about tv-channels. Some channels are good in really trying to revalue priorities in people's minds (especially for youngsters). If the surroundings start occasionally to get fuzzy and get too much motion blur, just press pause ..there's always enough time to think through. That's unfortunately so true that many people only see the big picture. Maybe they just haven't read the manual for zooming in and "getting some macro viewpoints" ..one thing I still can appreciate (at least a part of it) is the modern music. Of course e.g. most of those US. blonde bimbos could be taken away for good, but there's still much to receive from a part of it ..I have to confess that I really should read aloot more books and things like that than I currently do. A bit of indolence there, but not for long ..and no reason to bathe in sorrow or especially in self-pity. It's all about the attitude. Reincarnation is anyway soo overrated and I hate cats! ..prefer dogs so much more. (just so not my intention to think "maybe the next time")
